Paying it Forward

Have you ever made a decision that you regret and have to live with the rest of your life?

I am not proud of the man I once was, but I am proud of the man I have become.

My name is Mark Jackson, and I am a convicted felon. I live with the consequences of my actions every day, and I will live with them for the rest of my life.

Serving nearly five years in prison does not alleviate the guilt and shame I feel from defrauding my victims. The news media had a field day with me since news coverage of my crime was rampant, as it should have been.  I owe over $21 million in restitution, a figure I do not dispute.

There is nothing I can do to change the illegal ways of my past, but I certainly can and WILL control my present and future actions.  I adamantly and unequivocally state that my prison time was not served in vain.  I am dedicating the rest of my days to improving the lives of others through my story.
