The Broncos’ Mark Jackson

My name, Mark Jackson is not unique in the world of sports.  Locally, the Mark Jackson who played wide receiver for the Denver Broncos was a member of the highly acclaimed “Three Amigos” receiving corps and on the receiving end of John Elway’s touchdown pass completing “The Drive” that sent the Broncos to it’s second Super Bowl. I met the former receiver through my then 9-year old son in 1987. My family and I were fortunate to receive Super Bowl tickets to the game between the Broncos and the New York Giants. At the team hotel, my son approached Mark and said his dad had the same name as he did!  An instant friendship was born, and Alan, Mark, and myself and the three of us snapped this picture.

So nice to catch up with Mark yesterday! Its been way too long!
